Safety is paramount for all Puma employees and associates, we pride ourselves on our safety record. We have not incurred any notifiable incidents during our time in the industry, both for onsite and offsite activities.
All new employees conduct a company induction whether they are permanent or temporary staff, this also includes any contractors working on our premises.
We undertake regular tool box talks for all our employees to equate them of daily and weekly tasks and how the activities to be undertaken that may affect their working environment. This approach ensures that all of our staff are working safely and minimises the risk to themselves and their colleagues.
Our site supervisory team assess each and every project before the commencement of work, we provide comprehensive risk and method statements to all of our clients for their review and acceptance. These documents form the foundation of the tool box talks held with the employees before the commencement of work to ensure that a safe working environment is in place and remains so throughout the duration of all contracts.
This approach is supported by regular updates communicated by the site supervisors to equate the staff of any aspect of change that could affect their safe working status and any new procedures that need to be invoked to ensure their personal safety and those of fellow workers is maintained.
Safety is and remains the priority for all Puma staff and contractors, it is part of the Puma business continuous improvement strategy
